You’ve heard of hot wiring a car, right? Well, this method follows similar principles, but you’ll be using the wires from an Android phone charger to literally hot wire your vape juice and pull a nice big cloud.
It’s an impressive hack, we’ll say that, but messing around with live wires is always a massive risk, and being that there has been no valid confirmation that it’s a safe act, we absolutely can’t recommend it.
Just buy a new battery and enjoy your cart the way the good leaf lord intended.
How To Hit A Cart Using An Android Charger
There are 5 steps involved with a battery-less cart hit. Hypothetically, if you were to give it a try, all you’d need is a working Android smartphone charger, a pair of scissors, and some wire strippers.
It goes a little something like this…
Step 1 — Sever The Charging Port
First up, unplug the charger, grab your scissors, and trim off the small charging port end, the one that links up with the phone, not the USB end that fits into the plug port.
Keep the cut as close to the base of the charging port as possible, as you’re going to need plenty of wire length when the time comes to hit your cart.
Step 2 — Green & White Wires Be Gone!
You know in cheesy action movies when the protagonist sweats over a bomb with seconds left on the timer, wondering which wire they should cut?
Well, in this scenario, you might feel the same way at first, as there are four different colored wires within an Android charger.
The black and red wires are keepers. It’s actually the green and white wires you should cut when trying to fabricate a cart vaporizer. Remove them from the equation before moving on.
Step 3 — Stripping The Wires
With the white and green wires out of the way, take your wire stripper and remove the very end of both the black and red wires.
Nail clippers can play the role of wire strippers in a pinch, but whatever you do, never try to melt away the wire coating, as that’s just going to create a big mess.

On the base of your vape cartridge, you should see a small, circular hole. This is where the stripped black wire is going to nestle in.

Okay, so we’ve established how hitting a cart with an Android phone charger is done, but what’s really going on here?
Well, in a nutshell, the exposed wires of the charger enable you to replace the circuit provided by the battery, and the power from the wall outlet can then run into the heating element.
The positive black lead links the power to the element, while the negative red lead grounds and completes the circuit using the metal enclosure.
