From its lineage and effects to its flavors and growing conditions, we’ll walk you through everything you need to know about this iconic smoke.
What Is Pink Rozay?
Pink Rozay is an Indica-dominant strain (80/20) with a mid-range THC content of approximately 17%. Pink Rozay is the product of some impressive top-shelf genetics (which we’ll explore later), and it’s famous for its vibrant display of stunning buds, and wine-like aroma.
Pink Rozay is nothing short of intoxicating, and in our opinion, it’s one of the most diverse and unique strains out there. Pink Rozay draws its inspiration from the floral, citrussy notes you taste when diving head first into a glass of wine.
If you want to merge your love of wine and bud together, this strain is the closest you’ll come to it!
Pink Rozay Lineage
This Indica-dominant hybrid is a cross between Lemonchello 10 and LPC75. If these aren’t familiar to you, keep reading to learn more about the effects, tastes, and flavors of these unique buds.
Lemonchello 10
Lemonchello 10, or Limoncello 10, is a Sativa-dominant hybrid (80/20)that can only be described as a total powerhouse. This strain was created as a phenotype of Limoncello, and it offers a refreshing twist on a favorite in the cannabis community.
Lemonchello has an average THC content of 20%+. As you probably guessed by the name, Lemonchello is packed with sweet, sour, and slightly citrussy flavors, and its lemon notes are most notable on the exhale.
It’s smooth and creamy and offers earthy accents of spicy diesel. In other words, it’s delicious. This well-balanced hybrid is a cross between Lemonnade and Cherry Pie, and it delivers some impressive effects.
Lemonchello 10 will hit you with a refreshing and uplifting high soon after your first exhale. It makes its users feel an overwhelming sense of clarity and energy, and you can expect to feel happy, with heightened senses and a renewed sense of focus and motivation.
After a short while, these effects will drift into a heavy head-high that slowly creeps through your whole body, and leaves you feeling a little dazed and giggly. It’s relaxing both physically and mentally, and it’s great for both medicinal and recreational use.
Because of its chemical makeup and the effects it produces, Lemonchello 10 is the ideal strain for treating cramps, pain, fatigue, depression, anxiety, a loss of appetite, and fatigue. It may even be an effective treatment for PTSD and arthritis.
LPC75
LPC75, London Pound Cake, or just Pound Cake, is an Indica-dominant hybrid that’s a cross between sunset sherbert, and another unknown Indica (see also “Best Hybrid Strains“). LPC75 has approximately 15.19% THC and 19% CBD, making it a great strain for both experienced and inexperienced smokers to try.
LPC75 has a pretty noticeable aroma, and its citrus overtones are dominant. LPC75 smells like pure sour lemon, with a slight undertone of a bakery. It’s not exactly pound cake, but it definitely smells a little bready, with a subtle earthy and grassy taste and smell, too.
Because this is an Indica-dominant strain, your body and head high will leave you wanting to veg out. The most commonly reported effects of this strain are sleepiness, relaxation, and tingly feelings, and it can be used to help treat anxiety, insomnia, depression, and stress.
From the onset, LPC75 delivers a tingly, uplifting, and calming high that can quiet your racing thoughts and settle anxiety. You may also feel a little creative and chatty during this initial high. As you settle into the mental effects, the physical sensations take over.
The body high of LPC75 will make you feel blissfully relaxed and like a total couch potato. Although LPC75 will make you feel a bit sleepy, you’ll still feel fully functional thanks to its pretty high THC content.
Pink Rozay Effects
Pink Rozay takes some of the best effects of its parent strains and twists them into a whole new creation that’s destined to blow you away. Some of the most commonly reported effects of Pink Rozay include:
- Feeling social
- The giggles
- Relaxation
- Creativity
- Tingly
- Pain relief
- A full body high with little sedation
Pink Rozay is the definition of an all-rounder. Whether it’s morning, noon, or night, you can enjoy the effects of Pink Rozay. It’s particularly great for social occasions, which can’t be said for all strains. Pink Rozay will leave you feeling social, buzzed, and relaxed.
Because it’s well-balanced and boasts a pretty high THC content, it won’t leave you feeling completely couch-locked and lazy, either. Pink Rozay has an impressive profile and some highly sought-after effects, which make it a great treatment for any of the following conditions:
- Pain
- Arthritis
- Nerve conditions
- Spasms
- Cramps
- Nausea
- Anxiety
- Depression
There’s so much to love about Pink Rozay, but if we had to pick just one thing, it’d be the way its high slowly creeps up on you. Although the head high comes on first (it’s apparent from just a few tokes that you’ve caught a buzz), the transition into a blissful body high is rather gradual.
The daze slowly creeps from your head to your body, and it’s not at all overpowering. This will leave you feeling happy, uplifted, and relaxed, without impairing your motor skills.
Pink Rozay aims to mimic the feeling of being a little ‘tipsy’, and personally, we think it’s done a pretty good job.
Pink Rozay Makeup
This potent Indica strain has a terpene profile consisting of Beta Myrcene, Beta-Caryophyllene, and Alpha Pinene. Carene is the dominant terpene, coming in at around 0.26%.
Carene is thought to improve memory, reduce inflammation, and treat pain. However, it can also cause more prominent eye redness and dry mouth, so watch out for these when you’re smoking!
Pink Rozay Appearance, Taste, And Smell
Although it has some impressive effects, the appearance, taste, and smell of Pink Rozay are what make it so unique. The second this bud catches your eye, you’ll be captivated by its beautiful display of colors.
Its olive-like nugs are a deep purple beneath the surface, and the top layers are littered with an abundance of captivating orange hairs, and white and light purple trichomes. It’s a true beauty to behold, and it smells and tastes just as good, too!
The dominant aromas in Pink Rozay are citrus and fruit (strawberries are definitely in there), with some overtones of spicy florals, more strawberry, and a nutty, herby profile.
Some users are even able to detect subtle notes of vanilla in Pink Rozay, making it a real fruity powerhouse to enjoy. Strawberry and florals are the most dominant flavors, and they’re noticeable on the inhale and exhale.
Those nutty, earthy flavors will follow shortly after and offer a nice way to round off a fruity overload.
Pink Rozay Grow Information
This is an Indica-dominant strain, and because of its strong Indica genetics, it produces medium-stature flowers and broad leaves. When grown outdoors, Pink Rozay can reach heights of up to 170cm, but this may be slightly stunted when grown indoors.
This strain takes approximately 8-9 weeks to flower, and its harvest period is around Mid-October. Pink Rozay is a photoperiod flowering type, so it has two main stages in its life cycle – vegetative growth and bloom.
When grown indoors, it can yield 0.5-1 oz/ft2, and outdoors, you can expect approximately 14-18 ounces per plant. Despite its complex makeup, it’s a pretty easy strain to grow and it responds well to most cultivation methods.
Even if you’re a beginner grower, Pink Rozay can be easy enough to nurture.
Pink Rozay: Similar Strains
Although you’ll never be able to mimic the full experience of Pink Rozay, there are a few strains that come pretty close. If you can’t get your hands on Pink Rozay, try some of the strains below for a similar experience:
- Northern Lights
- Pie Face OG
- Blue Gelato
Final Thoughts
Pink Rozay is a one-of-a-kind strain. Few others are as captivating and well-balanced as Pink Rozay, and its impressive lineage and genetic makeup make it the perfect smoke for both social occasions and a chill night alone.
This strain aims to mimic the effects of feeling tipsy, and we think it does a pretty good job. Plus, once that tipsy buzz has worn off, you’ll be left with a pleasant (and not at all overbearing) body high that will leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed.
You’ll also have no hangover to worry about the morning after, either – it’s a real winner!
